Welcome to Elleaire Fore Inc. It is our mission to collaboratively increase awareness, resources, and funding  for Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia.

About

About The Founder

I am Elleaire Lyons, now a Junior at Coronado High School, in Coronado, CA graduating in 2026. The journey and inception of Elleaire Fore Inc. began in 2023. As the President and Founder of Elleaire Fore Inc, I am utilizing this platform to advocate for awareness and boost funding for Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP), a rare neuromuscular disorder. This cause holds special significance for me, as my father is affected by this condition. I am channeling my voice and energy towards fundraising for this crucial mission, recognizing the unique opportunity I have to make a meaningful impact.

Beyond my involvement with Elleaire Fore Inc, I have had the privilege of tutoring for Kid By Kid (KBK) since its inception in 2019, providing one-on-one free online tutoring services. Outside of these commitments, I enjoy the creative outlets of music (piano) and art - I have a few of my creations here: ellequinnart.com. I have also been an active member of the UCSD Center Community Health-Youth Advisory Council (YAC), now in my third year. Within YAC, I dedicate my efforts and voice to advocating for youth-led social change in the community. Collaboratively, we identify focus topics with the overarching goal of enhancing the health, including mental health, of youth throughout San Diego. Participating in YAC has been a rewarding experience.

In addition to my commitments with KBK and YAC, I am deeply involved in my school, serving as a student leader in the Associated Student Body for 4 consecutive years. Furthermore, I am the President at the NadoCAF Chapter Club for Coronado High School with the Challenged Athletes Foundation and an active member of the National Honor Society. On the athletic front, I am the Captain of the Coronado High School Varsity Golf Team and actively participate in competitive golf tournaments throughout Southern California.

Being part of these diverse organizations and activities has been instrumental in developing crucial life and leadership skills, including responsibility, communication, empathy, and an overall desire to make a positive impact within my community. My passion for supporting others will continue as a change-maker for my community and for those with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia.

Elleaire Fore Golf Tournament April 21, 2024

Wow and Thank You!

Yesterday, I had the privilege of hosting the sold-out Elleaire Fore Golf Tournament at the Coronado Golf Course. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We welcomed 36 players across 9 tee times, had a fantastic turnout of spectators, enjoyed perfect weather, and received generous support through hole and scorecard sponsorships. Our raffle was a great success, and it was amazing being surrounded by family and friends throughout the event. Together, we raised awareness, resources, and funding for Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. Thank you to everyone who participated, whether by playing, buying raffle tickets, or joining us for the post-event celebration. Collectively, we raised over $9000, with all proceeds going to the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation.

I would like to express my gratitude to all our sponsors. Your support and collaboration were instrumental in making this event a success, and I am grateful for your participation. I hope you enjoyed seeing your names and company logos on the scorecards and hole marker signs, as well as the acknowledgment on our Elleaire Fore Sponsor page. Thank you to the Coronado Golf Course for holding the event and to the entire staff for ensuring everything ran smoothly. The day was flawless. A special thank you to my parents and family for their continued and unwavering support in this endeavor. They have been essential throughout this process.

Kindly,

Elleaire

Press Release

Coronado Teen Teeing up for a Cure

Coronado, CA A local teenager from Coronado is making a difference on the golf course for a noble cause. Elleaire Lyons, a sophomore at Coronado High School, successfully hosted the inaugural Elleaire Fore event on December 2, 2023, at the Riverwalk Golf Course in San Diego. As the President and Founder of Elleaire Fore Inc, she expresses her excitement about the event’s success, raising over $500 for the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation.

Elleaire is currently working with the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, which announced they granted over $1 million directed to medical researchers and investigators for 2023. Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) is a rare neuromuscular genetic disorder that involves weakness and spasticity in the legs. A communication breakdown occurs between the neuron impulses that struggle to reach the muscles effectively. The symptoms of HSP are often progressive and get worse over time.

The 10th-grade student at CHS, explains that her mission is to bring attention, resources, and education to HSP, which currently has no cure. Elleaire has chosen golf as the platform to spotlight HSP. She explains her dedication to this cause holds significant personal importance for her, as her father and other family members are affected by this rare condition. Elleaire states, “To do my part and help the HSP community, I recently created the non-profit, Elleaire Fore Inc. I plan to raise funds dedicated to HSP research with the aim of finding a cure. My platform to do this is GOLF. My father is an avid golfer and I am a competitive golfer as well. Golf is the one equalizing sport that my father and I enjoy playing together. I also play on the Coronado High School Varsity team, as well as compete at a high level, playing tournaments throughout Southern California.”

Following the triumph of the inaugural event, Elleaire is thrilled to announce the upcoming Elleaire Fore Golf Tournament event is scheduled for Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Coronado Golf Course. Those interested in participating in the tournament or contributing to this vital cause are encouraged to reach out. By joining forces, we can bring greater awareness to the rare condition of HSP and make a positive impact on the HSP community. To join this effort or learn more, please go to the website at www.elleairefore.org. To secure your spot in the Elleaire Fore Golf Tournament please contact Elleaire at team@elleairefore.org The entry fee is $150. Together we will have a little fun to make a big impact!
